PRIORITY PLACEMENT (HOW?)

P4 and upward students take part in Priority Placement to secure a place at Bromsgrove UK at Year 9/10, with further assessments possible in S7 & S8.

Priority Placement (How?)

BMH Pre School
(Pre-K to K3)		 All BMH Pre School students will be prioritized for admission, with guaranteed Prep School placement.
BMH Prep School
(P1 to P6)		 Based on students’ readiness, first adaptive age-appropriate testing is available from P4 and up (for entry to UK Year 9), and those who pass will receive a secured offer to join the first year of Bromsgrove UK’s Secondary School, at Year 9 (13+entry), after finishing S7 at BMH.
BMH Junior High
School (S7- S8)		 Further assessments possible in S7 (for entry to Bromsgrove UK Year 9 for next academic year) or in S8 (for entry to Bromsgrove UK Year 9 for next academic year). Year 9 is the beginning of Secondary School at Bromsgrove UK.
Bromsgrove UK
(Year 9-13)		 Year 9 students take part in 3 years GCSE (for selected students, can enter Year 10 and take part in 2 years GCSE), followed by A levels or IB.

The application for admission to Bromsgrove UK Senior School is very competitive. In addition to the applications of excellent local students in the UK (the admission rate of local students in the UK is very competitive), there are also international students from more than 55 countries and regions around the world who compete fiercely for places at Bromsgrove (the admission rate of international students is also very competitive).

BMH students have multiple chances from Prep 4 and up to secure the places at Bromsgrove UK Senior School. The timing of when students take the CAT4 test, the Oxford Online test, and sit for interviews hosted by Bromsgrove UK’s Assistant Head will be subject to Executive Headmaster and SLT’s review and recommendation, based on students’ readiness. Students who do not receive an offer will be recommended a list of alternative British boarding schools with the help of the UK Board.

Application Registration fee (waived for Bromsgrove Mission Hills students)
Confidential School reference from BMH Executive Headmaster to include academic grades, holistic portfolio, disciplinary record and pastoral; and recommendation regarding suitability to boarding in the UK
Oxford online English test
CAT 4 testing
(a cognitive ability test, examining students’ cognitive ability, logical reasoning and English)
Video/Interview with Bromsgrove School UK
