Grace Ouyang will be our Pre School Vice Principal

We are delighted to announce that MHIS has recruited a Pre School Vice Principal to join our hardworking and growing team. Grace Ouyang will be supporting in two key areas under leadership from the Principal:
• Operations, working with Admin to build increasingly effective school systems and procedures
• Curriculum, further enhancing our programme by advising teachers on both inquiry-based learning and Chinese language and culture integration Grace has rich and broad experience in both International and Local schools, predominantly in Zhuhai and Macau, and has served previously as both Principal and Vice Principal in addition to many years as a teacher. A child-centred educator, Grace believes in putting our students at the heart of all we do and
will bring with her a solid understanding of IB, Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches. She is used to running professional development courses for teachers, supporting with planning and leading by example. From an operational aspect, Grace has been involved in developing young schools before and focuses on health & safety and government requirements in particular.
Grace joined us on Monday 22nd February, after Chinese New Year, and will be introduced to parents at our first Term 2 Coffee Morning on Thursday 25th February. We are confident that Grace will be a truly valuable asset and are sure you will join us in welcoming her to our community.
